Jennifer Wahr - Owner/Operator/Head Trainer
Jennifer has over 20 years experience that began as a youth in the 4-H program. She then moved on the show APHA in the youth all around events with noted success in the Youth Geldings, English Equitation and HUS.
She spent a year of schooling in Dressage and uses a lot of those principles in her training today.
Jennifer began coaching her daughters Zoe and Grace in the local youth events and as their accomplishments grew was approached by others to start taking on outside students over the years. Countless weekend and year end awards are the result!
Jennifer has been a judge with the Michigan 4-H program since 2008 officiating 4-H, Open and MIHA events. She plans to expand her judging career with a focus on the stock seat disciplines such as NRHA, FQHA, ARHA.
For the last two years Jennifer and her daughters Zoe and Grace have be competing at NRHA events here in Michigan. She credits this experience with pushing her to be a better rider and trainer.
"Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing."
My oldest daughter has been riding since before she was born. She literally was raised in a barn. She attended her first show when she was four or five and it was down hill ever since! Winning herself so many weekend and year end high point awards we don't have room to display them all.
Zoe is now a Freshman at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI studying Civil Engineering. We couldn't be more proud!
He's not exactly a horse fan but our son is an avid athlete and outdoorsman. He enjoys his baseball, football, fishing and working in his garden to grow produce for his roadside stand.
Jake also helps his dad cook for us at our horse show outings and he has gotten very handy with the grill!
Our youngest daughter is a great little rider. Always ready to try something new. She's already won many weekend and year end buckles and awards.
2015 marked her second year showing MRHA with a fourth place finished for the year and also qualifying to compete at the Affiliate Championship in Ohio!
Saving the best for last! The support of my husband is what has gotten me and my business where we are today. Not enough space on this site to list all that he does but those who know us and show with us know that Wayne is just as busy as I am on show days. This man does it all and with a smile!
